Illustration for a fifth anniversary.
Billiard Pool
This is a Curriculum for a Billiard Pool player, with the goal to find out sponsors.
It works like a flyer, only a bit bigger.
That Pretty Pretty, ou a peça de violação.
I made de upper photography for this poster which was designed by Martino&Jaña atelier.
“That pretty pretty, or the rape play” will be performed next week in Teatro Oficina, in Guimarães.
Elementare Typographie
While I was digging in my hard drive, I found this class project that I’ve made during my 3rd year at university (2006-2007).
We had to make a book were the typographic rules of Jan Tschichold (Elementare Typographie) were the main theme.
With the
rigidity that all rules tend to have and consequently the need of breaking them, I chose to destroy each rule
by making them appear in a book, bible format, that contradicts them all.
The use of the christian and the soviet communism aesthetics mixed together was to emphasize the idea that each true
has is its refutation in another different true. The same for the typographic rules form Tschichold.
I tried to copy the layout of a bible, but replaced the holy scripts by typographic treaties and made illustrations
with soviet layout and christian characters to explain the 10 main rules of Elementare Typographie.
Wedding Invitation
I made this invitation in 2008, for my sister’s wedding.
I thought I should post it, even if a year as alredy gone by..!
São Martinho de Outeiro
Logo designed for the parish of Saint Martin of Outeiro. This Saint is well known by the fact that,
whit his sword, he splitted his cloak in two so one of the halfs could cover a mendicant.
This division was what based the design of the logo.
